Chris began following Buddhism in 1969 while a successful
jazz and rock drummer in London. He studied in Europe, India,
Nepal and Los Angeles and was ordained as a Zen monk (Rev
Shingen) in 1983. He now teaches Buddhism and Zen drumming.
